The
brief from the client was to separate an open plan office
area, which accommodated a square central atrium, into two
office areas providing independent access and also to satisfy
building regulations etc, especially for fire requirements.
The
works involved supply and installation of a fire blanket
extending to ridge, approximately 5 metres above the ceiling
line, adaptation of this ceiling to accommodate this fire
blanket and the new fire partition.
Fire
separation to under floor void, forming of the new fire partition
and protected lobby and decoration.
Finishing
items also involved matching of ash skirting and architrave
and doors to the existing.
