Beauty Salon
Wells Court, London EC3

The property was taken on by the client as 2 office areas adjoined and combined via a single doorway.

The brief by the client was to create approximately 6 treatment rooms with a hair salon area, and general staff facilities.

All existing walls, partitions and ceilings were stripped out and new partitions and ceiling formed. All 6 treatment rooms accommodated 1 treatment bed with 1 full width unit

housing and sink and to 4 rooms and additional unit for display purposes.

Affect plants and trees were then replanted, with all air-conditioning, electrical and fencing secured back to the wall from their temporary positions.

The joinery units were formed with clean square edges, sprayed white finishes. Standard height flush doors were installed with a solid over panel, giving a full height appearance. Floor finishes were Amtico – Honister Slate tiles to the main reception area with marmoleum to the treatment rooms and hair salon.

All fixtures and fitting had been chosen for their contemporary appearance with chrome and brushed stainless finishes used extensively. Lighting was installed to be controllable for dimmerable purposes to the treatment rooms for ambiance whilst being bright and airy to the circulation areas and hair salon.
