Boundary Wall Reinstatement
Wey Court, Farnham

The existing 215mm thick boundary wall had been subject to heavy clay heave and subsidence and as a result became so dangerous that the client had part of the leaning wall demolished.

Leo Developments were contracted to demolish the remaining sections of the boundary wall to excavate the existing foundations and install piling in pairs with pile caps for the full length. A new boundary wall was then built using matched bricks to its original

building and wall, to extend 30m to 2m high with all mortar colour matched in with the existing building.

To achieve an ideal match for the coping stones, a trial limestone composite mix was made and cast and the compared to the original. Once the right mix was achieved the new coping stones were cast, allowed to dry naturally and then bedded to the wall.

Affect plants and trees were then replanted, with all air-conditioning, electrical and fencing secured back to the wall from their temporary positions.
